Gray Manes is a lovely blue lias stone house, completely refurbished in 2011 to a 5 star standard the property now offers spacious and luxurious accommodation.

Buses: Bus stations are at Taunton, Yeovil and Bridgwater

Groceries can be delivered by Tesco , Sainsburys, ASDA, Ocado or Waitrose by pre-ordering on-line. Please arrange a delivery slot after midday for the day of your arrival and advise us, we will unpack your shopping ready for your arrival.

Arrival and Car Parking: From the road there is a gravel dive which can easily accommodate eight cars, from here there is a paved level area to the two entrances at the rear of the property.

Ground Floor

The ground floor is level throughout with slate or oak flooring.

Utility Room

The back door, 800mm wide with a 75mm threshold, gives access to the utility room, there is a washer dryer, sink and cupboards, large boot rack and hooks for hats and coats. A 650mm door gives access to a downstairs cloakroom and a 650mm door access to the kitchen.

Kitchen and dining Area

The kitchen and dining area are open plan; The kitchen 4.8m x 3.2m equipped with a Rangemaster stove with double fan assisted ovens and gas hob, dish washer and American Fridge/Freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, crockery and glasses as well as storage space for shopping. A 2850mm gap leads to the dining area has a large oak table 770mm high and leather chairs, there is 1300mm average between the table and walls. A 1115mm gap leads to the breakfast area 3m x 3.3m has an oak table 750mm high and four chairs.

From the breakfast area of the kitchen an 850mm door leads to a small seating area 4m x 2.5m there is a sofa, chairs and oak cupboard containing the information pack and brochures on local places of interest. A 800mm door gives access to the downstairs bedroom and a 850mm door gives access to the lounge.

Downstairs Bedroom

The downstairs bedroom 4.8m x 3.8m max has a 900mm door to the en-suite bathroom 1.9m x 1.8m the bath/shower is 600mm high a wash hand basin 900mm high and toilet 400mm high. A further door from the bedroom 750mm wide leads to the toddler’s playroom.

The Lounge

The lounge 8m x 5.1m has double patio doors 1500mm wide with a 150mm threshold, internal and external ramps can be supplied for this door. The lounge has a large flat screen TV, large leather sofas, log burner and adjustable lighting.

First floor

All bedrooms can be twin or super king; the beds are all 700mm high, all have oakflooring and hanging space. 

Off the rear of the lounge is a carpeted staircase leading to bedrooms 2 3 and 4 there are 13 risers each of 190mm. From the small landing at the top of the stairs:

Access to the garden can also be gained via the drive which offers a gentle slope. The gardens of over an acre are mainly laid to lawn; there is a fenced child's play area with a large netted trampoline, climbing frame and swings.

Leisure Barn

There is a second patio by the Leisure barn with access to the pool via one of two patio doors. The doors to the garden have a 900mm wide opening with a 200mm threshold the doors to the patio have a 1000mm opening with a 130mm threshold. The pool hall is 11.2m x 6.6m and the pool 8m x 4m, there are wicker tables and chairs.

Games Room

A 630mm door from the patio leads to the games room 5.7m x 5.5m, there is American Pool, Air Hockey and table football, two leather settees, log burner and a TV for games consoles.

Changing Room

From the games room there is a 650mm door leading to the changing room with a 450mm high toilet and 850mm high wash basin.

An 850mm door joins the games room with the pool hall there is a 150mm high step between the two.
