Guests and visitors are all assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Set in 118 acres, some 6352 yards in length, it is a par 71 course for men and par 72 for ladies.

Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club
Founded in 1892, Taunton & Pickeridge is located on Pickeridge Hill in the Blackdowns, and is just 5 miles away from Taunton in Somerset. The golf course, an 18 hole par 69 in wonderful surroundings; is a challenging test, which rewards the brave while encouraging the less adventurous. Taunton Vale Golf Club
Warm up on the flood lit driving range, test your putting on the practice green, then on to tackle either the 9 hole Durston course an excellent academy course at 2004 yards with 5 par 4s or alternatively experience the true test of the outstanding 18 hole Charlton Course.

Walking & Cycling
Low Ham and the surrounding area boast excellent cycling with lots of variations of terrain including hills, levels and off road routes, plenty for the serious cyclist or just enough for a leisurely afternoon ride. If you prefer walking there are plenty of footpaths to walk and the lanes are very quiet. You will find maps at Gray Manes so you can find your way around whilst you are here.
WildLife
The Somerset Levels and Moors is home to a diverse range of wildlife including wading birds, curlews, bitterns, otters, dragonflies and an abundance of wildflowers. In winter over 80,000 water birds gather across the area.
Every year between November and February, the starlings flock together over the Somerset Levels & Moors to create huge and magnificent starling murmurations. The starlings numbering thousands form sweeping shapes before roosting in the reeds. Although the murmurations can be seen across the Somerset Levels some of the best places to see them are the Avalon Marshes and the National Nature Reserves of Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve which often features in documentaries, including the BBC's Springwatch and Autumnwatch series.
